A major East Yorkshire route has reopened following a collision between a bus and a tractor. The yellow-coloured coach came into contact with a tractor and trailer on the A1079 York Road, near Market Weighton, at around 4pm on Tuesday afternoon. Police were on the scene and the road was shut in both directions to deal with an oil spillage from the vehicles involved in the collision. The force has said there are no injured parties following the crash, but the road is currently closed as a precaution. A Humberside Police spokeswoman said: “It is a none injury road traffic collision and the road has been closed due to an oil spillage on the carriageway A1079 York Road.” Click here for more news.
