A419 | Wiltshire | Southbound | Collision | Road Closed

The A419 in Wiltshire is closed southbound between the B4696 (near South Cerney) and the B4040 (near Cricklade) due to a collision involving a car and an HGV. Emergency services including Wiltshire Police are in attendance.

Road users intending on using this section of road are advised to allow plenty of extra time for their journey and to consider alternative routes (if possible). 

Traffic is being diverted via the solid circle diversion symbol. 

Exit the A419 at the junction with Spine Road (near South Cerney) and take the 4th exit onto the B4696. At the next roundabout. take the 2nd exit onto Spine Road (eastbound) which is signposted Aston Keynes. At the t-junction, turn left onto Ashton Road (signed Wooton Bassett) and then at the next junction turn right and continue on the B4696. Continue and then at the next crossroads turn left onto Malmesbury Road (signed Leigh and Cricklade B4040). At Common Hill roundabout, take the second exit and continue to the next roundabout. Take the first exit onto High Street (signposted Cirencester). Take the second exit at the next 2 roundabouts and then at Cricklade roundabout, take the second exit and rejoin the A419.
