A driver involved in a crash on the A63 “forcibly removed” another motorist from his van before assaulting him with a weapon and throwing his belonging into oncoming traffic. Humberside Police officers are investigating Thursday's two-car crash on the A63 and are appealing for information to identify the unknown driver of a silver Audi who fled the scene. At around 1.45pm, a silver Audi collided with a white ford transit van close to the eastbound A63 junction for Brough. The cars then stopped and the driver of the Audi is reported to have wrestled the van driver from his vehicle before assaulting him.
