A63 shut as lorry crashes near Brough ‘blocking all four…

A lorry has crashed across both carriageways of the A63. The road is blocked between North Cave and North Ferriby, police said. The crash is understood to have happened near Brantingham. Motorists have been advised to avoid the road in both directions. A witness told BBC Radio Humberside that the the crash happened just past a bridge near the Triton pub. The lorry is laid on its side across all four carriageways, he added. Traffic was blocking up on both carriageways. AA traffic has confirmed that traffic jams are forming in both directions. Humberside Police said: “Drivers, please avoid the A63 both east and westbound, between the North Cave and North Ferriby turn-offs. Emergency services are in attendance to a Road Traffic Collision.
