Police urged motorists to avoid the A63 turn off near North Ferriby after a lorry has broken down. The incident happened on Tuesday morning and was near to Humberfields and caused traffic to back up. At the time, Humberside Police tweeted: “Please be aware, there is a broken down lorry on the slip road of the A63, just prior to the North Ferriby turn near to Humberfields which is causing a build up of traffic. “Please avoid the area if possible.
