All the Hull Fair road closures for 2021 as the fair arrives in town

There is not long to go until Hull Fair opens which mean a series of road closures around the Walton Street site are coming into place. With Walton Street itself turning into a huge street food Mecca and clear access needed to the fair site, there will be a number of closures in place. Some roads will be closed for much of Hull Fair while others will be closed only in exceptional circumstances. Residents may need permits to access the streets they live on. For the latest on Hull Fair click here. Here is a list of the roads you will not be able to access or which have restrictions in place. Walton Street Food stalls at Walton Street during Hull Fair Closes at 10am October 6 until Sunday, October 17 when it reopens at 2pm. Entry is by Old Anlaby Road under the flyover via West Park. Exit is via Walton Street/Spring Bank West. No vehicle movement is permitted on Walton Street between the hours of noon to 1am daily. Lowther Street The street from the junction of Sleights Close up to Walton Street closes at 10am on October 6 until Sunday, October 17 at 2pm. A temporary traffic arm will be installed and will be monitored by a steward 24 hours, 7 days a week. Residents will have to display their residents parking permit to gain access. Walliker Street The street will be closed from Anlaby Road junction at 10am on October 6 until Sunday, October 17 at 2pm. Anlaby Road At the junction with Walliker Street and Walton Street there will be no right or left turn onto north and south carriageways between 10 am on October 6 and 2pm on October 17. Spring Bank West There will be lane restrictions from 10am on October 6 to October 17 at 2pm. Granville Street and Sandringham Street Closed only when needed in exceptional circumstances, from 4pm on Friday, October 8 to Saturday October 16 at 11pm with restricted access to residents only.
