There are long term roadworks ongoing in and around the city, but there are also shorter term ones planned. Here is your definitive list to all the ongoing and upcoming roadworks in the area, as announced by Hull City Council. A63 – St James Street to Market Place: Major A63 improvement scheme – full infrastructure change. Lane and road closures until completion of scheme, May 1, 2025. Anlaby Park Road South: Road being resurfaced between Tilbury Road and number 174, road closure in place. Until November 15. Anlaby Road: Refurbishment of existing traffic signal assets. Two-way signals in place. November 6 to 8. Bankside: Surveys required in preparation to remove the old kiosk at the junction of Ferry Lane. Lane closure in place. November 13 to 15. Barnes Way: Utility asset works opposite Connaught Road. Multi-way signals in place. November 4 to 15. Beverley Road: Gas works near Tesco and DM Keith. lane closure in place.
