Anyone driving through Hull over the next few weeks should be aware roadworks are due to take place. Planned road closures, lane closures and temporary signals may affect traffic, and travel times are likely to be longer than usual. This comes after a burst water main caused a sudden road closure in Marfleet Lane. Hull Fair is also just around the corner, so people may want to plan around the increased traffic if they live in west Hull, particularly near the Avenues and Anlaby Road where visitors to the fair often park.
