Anyone driving through Hull over the next few weeks should be aware roadworks are due to take place. Planned road closures, lane closures and temporary signals may affect traffic, and travel times are likely to be longer than usual. This comes after a burst water main caused a sudden road closure in Marfleet Lane. Hull Fair is also just around the corner, so people may want to plan around the increased traffic if they live in west Hull, particularly near the Avenues and Anlaby Road where visitors to the fair often park. Market Place From September 13 until October 13, roadworks are taking place for the Castle Street improvement scheme. There will be a full closure of the Market Place entry slip road.
