An updated list of upcoming and ongoing roadworks that motorists in the area should keep in mind while travelling has been published by Hull City Council. They include major schemes, maintenance work and demolition projects, and disruption may last from a day to weeks or months. Some routes could have low levels of disruption as a result of the work, but motorists may opt to adjust their journeys to avoid the worst of the roadworks and the resulting traffic. Below is a list of all of the upcoming roadworks proposed for Hull and the surrounding area, according to Hull City Council’s website. Lane closures Beverley Road – work to water main at Clough Road (9.30am-3.30pm) – until May 24 2023 Ennerdale Bridge (Raich Carter Way) – Bridge inspection overnight. Diversion in place – until May 14, 2023 Ferry Lane Bridge – Bridge inspection. Diversion in place – until May 15, 2023 Hall Road – May 2 2023 to May 12 2023 – Utility repair and maintenance works Hawthorne Avenue – May 4 2023 – Network maintenance to rail crossing, overnight closure.
