Bad crash in Hessle High Road as car ‘ploughs into…
Dramatic images show the scene of a car crash in Hessle High Road in Hull this evening. Brian Lavery, a Scottish writer living in Hull, made a Twitter post about the incident which he said took place outside his home at 5.17pm. Humberside Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service are in attendance. According to Mr Lavery, a car crashed into three other stationary vehicles and there is a lot of commotion. In his tweet, Mr Lavery said there were “several angry neighbours” with damaged vehicles but, fortunately for him, his own car was missed. Humberside Police has been approached for comment. Pictures he has taken show a red car so badly damaged its numberplate is wrecked beyond recognition. There is glass scattered around the street and police appear to be questioning witnesses.
