A section of Beverley Road has been closed by police due to an accident. Pictures show police cars blocking the road from Grove Street to Cave Street with paramedics also in attendance. The accident happened at around 5.45pm during Tuesday rush hour and is causing traffic delays within the area. East Yorkshire Buses tweeted: “Due to an accident between Cave Street and Queens Road, our services are diverting via Spring Bank, Princess Avenue and Queens Road. “Please be aware that we are experiencing delays as a result of this.
