Two boys are alleged to have assaulted a bus driver and damaged a vehicle which has prompted Stagecoach to stop running certain services in parts of Orchard Park. The boys from Hull, aged 12 and 14 years old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been arrested and charged with multiple offences. The arrests follow the assault of a bus driver, serious damage to a bus and the attempted theft of the bus takings on Hall Road on Sunday, February 12. They were also charged with a further 10 offences of burglary, criminal damage, and theft. Several other people were arrested in connection with these incidents and have been released while Humberside Police continue to investigate. The two boys are due to appear at youth court at a later date. Our investigation is ongoing, and a team of officers remain dedicated to identifying all individuals involved. “Our Neighbourhood Team continue to patrol the area and build on existing relationships with local businesses and residents to take appropriate action against those committing offences. “I would appeal for anyone who knows anything about this incident or knows who’s involved to contact us.
