It's a good job this cyclist was right next to a hospital when he chose to pull a reckless move at one of Hull's busiest junctions. Dashcam footage has captured the moment he risked being hit by a car or causing a serious collision after running a traffic light on red during the city's rush hour. The cyclist had to swerve to avoid oncoming traffic after carrying straight on through the lights near Hull Royal Infirmary. The cyclist can be seen in rear cam footage weaving through queuing cars before just continuing through the lights to cross Anlaby Road. Multiple cars turning left nearly clip the man as he swerves to dodge the oncoming traffic. The Highway Code states cyclists are obliged to wait at traffic lights when red, along with motor vehicles.
