Bude Road to get ‘vital’ repairs with drivers warned of delays

A Bransholme road is set to undergo major renovations. Hull City Council says it needs to carry out essential carriageway, road maintenance work and repairs on Bude Road, which they say is “vital.” A diversion route around Ennerdale has been put in place for the works outside Home Bargains but the council says the other works will be carried out under traffic lights. The works will start on Monday, July 29 and will last for five weeks. In a letter sent out to residents and shared on Hull Live’s Traffic and Travel page, Hull City Council said: “Hull City Council needs to carry out essential carriageway maintenance work and repairs on Bude Road. It is vital to reconstruct the road, to ensure the highway provides a safe surface for traffic that has adequate grip and skin resistance.
