Bus diversions in Hull this weekend for The Awakening
Stagecoach buses will be running an amended service this weekend due to road closures during The Awakening. The Awakening, which takes place on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18, promises awe-inspiring light shows and installations that celebrate Hull’s maritime heritage, folklore and mythology. Giant bunnies will take over Queens Gardens as part of the event, while ‘soft robots’ can be found in Zebedee’s Yard. To accommodate all of the different installations in the city centre, Queens Dock Avenue, Carr Lane, and Alfred Gelder Street will be closed from 5pm on Friday and all day Saturday. Stagecoach buses have amended the route of a number of services across Friday evening and Saturday to reflect these closures.
