Bus timetables in Hull are ramping up for a return to “near normal” service levels to support the reopening of leisure and hospitality sectors. Stagecoach East Midlands, which runs the Stagecoach services in Hull, has announced that its bus services will be returning to over 97 per cent of pre-pandemic levels to support the increase in demand, with most changes in place by next Monday. The company has also thanked people for their continued co-operation in following all the Covid-19 guidelines in place. Matt Cranwell, managing director of Stagecoach East Midlands, said: “We are working hard to support the reopening of our high streets and help people re-connect with loved ones and the things they enjoy doing. “Our buses will continue to play a crucial role in this next stage of unlocking in England. Passengers’ safety has always been our number-one priority and we are increasing our service provision to ensure social distancing is maintained on our bus routes.
