Three different bus services are set to divert for two months due to planned roadworks on an east Hull road. Staveley Road will undergo reconstruction and resurfacing work between Barham Road to Diadem Grove, with traffic diverting along the ever-busy Holderness Road. Three Stagecoach bus services – the 13, 15, and 84 – will run on alternate routes from Monday, June 12 to Sunday, August 13 as a result. Garry Taylor, assistant director of major projects at Hull City Council, said: “This work will help us ensure a safe and even surface for traffic. We will do all we can to ensure resident access is maintained. “However, there may be times when access is prohibited for short periods of time. We apologise for any inconvenience this work may cause and thank residents and motorists for their patience.” Read more: Council explains why cameras have gone up along Hull's Freetown Way
