People in Hull were in stitches when a bystander managed to capture a photograph of a car carrying a sofa in a rather unusual fashion. In the image, taken at the crossroads with Spring Bank, Beverley Road and Freetown Way, a Ford Mondeo is waiting at the lights with a cream-coloured sofa perched on the roof rack. From the angle at which the picture was taken, it was not immediately clear how the sofa was attached to the rack.
