Changes to Hessle Road flyover during investigation works
A major Hull flyover will see the road narrowed and the cycle lane closed during investigation works. An initial survey is set to begin on Hessle Road Flyover on Wednesday (July 2) between 9am and 3.30pm. Detailed investigations are then planned to start at 9am on Friday, July 18 with works expected to be completed by 6am on Friday, September 12. These will span the full length of the flyover and are “crucial for determining the future maintenance and strengthening works to ensure the structure’s long-term resilience”, Hull City Council has said.
