Two roads which link Cottingham with Hull have reopened following works to replace ageing underground gas pipes. Northern Gas Networks (NGN) said the works on Northgate and New Village Road have now finished and traffic is able to move as normal. Northern Gas Networks' Business Operations Lead Scott Kitchingman apologised for any inconvenience caused by the works. The removal of temporary traffic lights at the railway crossing in Northgate comes after works first began on Monday, November 6.
