Humberside Police have confirmed a man has tragically died after being hit by a car in Hall Road. It happened just after 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon, between The Rampant Horse and the Orchard 2000 centre. The car involved in the collision was seen by witnesses parked within the police cordon with its registration plate hanging off one side. Click here for more Hull traffic and travel news A damaged black bike was laying on its side next to the car. Four police vehicles and an ambulance were present at the scene. Police cordoned off the area and closed the road, preventing vehicles from passing through. Now, the force are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A road traffic incident occurred on Hall Road this afternoon Humberside Police said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses after a fatal road traffic collision on Hall Road, Hull, at around 1:40pm yesterday (Saturday 18 December), in which a car had been in collision with a cyclist. “Sadly the cyclist was pronounced dead shortly after. The man’s family are now being supported by our specialist trained officers and our thoughts are with them following the tragic incident. “We are now appealing for anyone who was in the vicinity with dash cam footage, or who was travelling in the area at the time of the collision, or moments prior, and saw the collision to call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 283 of 18 December.” His death is the third this weekend after a man was tragically found deceased outside Costa on Paragon Street on Saturday morning and police have also confirmed that a man hit by a bus in Ferensway on Thursday morning has also now sadly died.
