A suspected drink driver has been arrested after leading police on a chase then crashing into a parked car. Humberside Police officers pursued a grey Seat car after it failed to stop in Fifth Avenue around 8.45pm on Tuesday, October 26. Read more stories on crime here. A witness recalls police “chasing” after a driver before he crashed into the side of a parked Ford. The force confirmed the Seat driver was arrested for a number of driving offences, including drink driving and driving while disqualified. The driver has been arrested on suspicion of four driving offences (Image: Witness) Both the driver and the passenger were taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries. A witness said three police cars, one police van, an ambulance and a fire engine were present at the scene. He said that police were pulling out items from the back of the driver's car before placing them in evidence bags. A Humberside Police spokesman said: “A vehicle which failed to stop for officers on Fifth Avenue in Goole at around 8.45pm yesterday (Tuesday, October 26) crashed into a parked car. “Both the driver and passenger were taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
