A driver had to be cut from the wreckage of a two-car crash in East Yorkshire. The motorist was rushed to hospital following the crash on the B1362 on Thursday afternoon. The road was closed for several hours between Weghill Road and Daisy Hill Road following the smash. For the latest traffic and travel news click here. Humberside Fire and Rescue Service said two cars were involved with one driver trapped at the scene. A fire service spokesman said: “One adult male driver self-released from first vehicle and refused medical assistance before being taken home by his spouse. “The adult male driver of the second vehicle was medically trapped. “Fire service crews removed the car roof to allow access for paramedics. “The casualty was conveyed to hospital by the ambulance service.
