Driver’s ‘bad feeling’ ends in near miss with Hull cyclist

A cyclist was lucky to escape without serious injury after crossing a Hull main road without even looking. The incident, which happened at just before 7pm on Sunday, November 1, was caught on the dashcam of one of the vehicles involved. Roj Ava said he was driving over North Bridge towards Holderness Road when he caught sight of the cyclist emerging quickly on to the main road from Lime Street, a side road, out of the corner of his eye. “I just had a bad feeling,” he said. “He was lucky I saw him coming out from the side street.” To get the Hull Live headlines every day, simply pop your email address into the sign-up box just beneath the picture at the top of this article. Scarily, another car was travelling in the opposite direction and almost crossed paths with Roj just as the cyclist made it past the front of his car and cycled away in the opposite direction.
