A horse pulling a cart along Greenwood Avenue was reportedly injured after a driver angrily reversed into it. Witnesses said the animal had been pulling a child in a cart attached to its rear at the time of the incident at around 10.45am on Wednesday morning, when a silver Jeep abruptly reversed into it without warning having just overtaken it. The car was seen emitting a great deal of smoke before it crashed into the animal, prompting a panicked response from the people walking on either side of the horse who could be heard shouting: “It could have died.” Click here for more Hull breaking news An eyewitness's daughter uploaded a post on Facebook with a video from her mother's car dashcam. In a comment on the original post, one person claiming to be the horse's owner's sister said the horse has sustained cuts and bruises as a result of the attack, but is doing alright.
