Driver’s rant after lane hogger’s sweary exchange on Humber Bridge
A driver has called another motorist out for “straddling” and blocking lanes on the Humber Bridge. One lane is closed due to roadworks on the A15 Humber Bridge northbound from the A1077 Ferriby Road to the A164 (Humberfield Roundabout) until October 31. The driver, who shared the video above, says motorists are told to use both lanes and then merge into one but claims one driver, in the video above, is “straddling” both lanes and preventing others from being able to pass them. The video was posted onto the Driving in Hull: Improving our standards together Facebook page . Dean, the man behind the Facebook page, posted the video. The clip was shared online (Image: Driving in Hull: Improving our standards together) “As you’re aware, the northbound carriage of the Humber Bridge is currently down to one lane,” they said “As you join the Humber Bridge, there is a sign stating that drivers should use both lanes and then merge. “I have been stuck a few cars back from this driver (captured in the video) a few times. “For some reason, he/she straddles both lanes preventing any other driver from being able to pass him/her in either lane, and holds up traffic.” What do you think to it?
