Drivers warned of flooding on A63 into Hull – with…

Motorists are reporting flooding on roads around East Yorkshire, following today's heavy rain. The A63 was among routes affected. Humberside Police warned of heavy surface water, particularly eastbound just after the junction for South Cave. The force added: “Please take care whilst driving on all roads this evening, and not just the A63, given the current weather conditions.” Reports are being received on Hull Live's Traffic and Travel Facebook page. The underpass between Dunswell and Cottingham was about “a foot and half deep” with flood water at 7.15pm, according to one driver, Rio, who advised people to consider avoiding the route.
