An East Yorkshire petrol station is boasting of prices so cheap that it actually sells out of fuel. The Oasis Garage in Long Riston is well-known for selling affordable fuel in the region, but on Monday, December 19, they ran out of unleaded fuel. There was also a limited supply of diesel. In a Facebook post, the team said: “Due to Supply Chain Issues that are out of our control. They posted on social media: “Update, all Back in Stock 16.30 20/12/22. Thank you for your continued support.” Long Riston is currently one of the cheapest places to get fuel. One motorist said they often drive down during the weekend and fill up their tank. They said: “We always go there. It is worth it whether you are going that way or not.” It would cost £62.95 to fill up a 42l car, whereas the average price to fill up the same car would be £67.62. Another user added that this petrol station has been the cheapest right through the price hikes.
