Drivers who failed to stop when asked by police to do so and who drove without due care and attention were banned from driving by magistrates in Hull last week. One thief who stole a car and drove it without an appropriate licence or insurance, motorists who drove whilst over the prescribed legal limit of alcohol and people who failed to provide a specimen of breath to police were also handed driving bans and hefty fines. Here are eight driving offenders who have been sentenced at Hull Magistrates' Court in recent days. He was given a community order with the requirement to undergo alcohol treatment, banned from driving for one year and ordered to pay a £114 victim services surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service. Daniils Palamarcuks, 20, of Derwent Road, Howden pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention, failing to stop when directed to do so by a police constable, driving without a valid test certificate, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance. He was banned from driving for two years, given six points on his licence and ordered to pay a fine of £126 and £85 in costs to
