More drivers were banned from the roads and handed points on their licences by magistrates in Hull last week. Among those to be sentenced was a man who took a vehicle without the owner's consent, drove without due care and attention and whilst disqualified, and others who were caught driving above the legal alcohol limit. Here are five driving offenders from across Hull and East Yorkshire who have been sentenced at Hull Magistrates' Court in recent days. He also changed a previous plea of not guilty to guilty for the theft of a mobile phone from another person, and pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of or provoke unlawful violence.
