Full closures on Hull’s Myton Bridge coming this week for…

Hull’s Myton Bridge is to close for two nights this week, to allow for continuing repairs. The swing bridge, which carries A63 traffic over the River Hull, will close completely from 8am to 6am on the nights of Wednesday and Thursday (May 17 and 18). Drivers are being urged to allow extra time for journeys, with a fully-signed diversion in place that could significantly extend travel times for some. The essential roadworks taking place across the two nights will be to remove a contraflow and make changes to the traffic layout on the bridge. After the two overnight closures, traffic will run in lanes one and two in both directions, with lane three closed as a safety zone, enabling work to be carried out on the central reservation.
