Hundreds of cars queuing for drive-thru fish and chips on Good Friday have caused gridlock stretching all the way out of Kingswood. Roads in north Hull have “ground to a halt” on Friday afternoon with drivers joining the snaking queues for Papa's Fish and Chips. The drive-thru at the popular chippy had been inundated with customers for most of the day, leaving congestion on nearby roads as a result. But things got even busier as the afternoon went on, with more and more people heading out to get themselves fish and chips for tea.
