Haven issues update for holiday parks with relaxation on face masks

Haven has announced a number of changes to their holiday parks in England. The travel operator has relaxed a number of coronavirus restrictions at their venues including social-distancing, test and trace check-ins and face mask rules. It comes following the latest Government announcement confirming Step 4 of the lockdown roadmap. Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the nation earlier this week and said the easing of restrictions would go ahead on Monday July 19. From next week Haven say capacity will be increased at their venues across the country, apart from in Wales, Scotland and Ireland. The holiday company hope to step away from Covid-19 restrictions in a “cautious and careful way”, with their number one priority being safety for both visitors and staff. Changes will also mean face masks will no longer be required in certain areas and it will no longer be mandatory for visitors to check in to NHS Test and Trace QR codes at their venues, although these will still be available for those who wish to do so. Social-distancing rules will also be relaxed and extra activity sessions will also be added, reports Lancs Live. A Haven spokesperson said: “Following the latest Government announcement, we are planning to step away from Covid-19 restrictions in a cautious and careful way, with our number one priority being to keep you and our team as safe as possible. “With Covid-19 still in the communities that we operate in, it remains important that we all continue to look after ourselves and those around us.” Below is the full list of changes coming to Haven venues in
