That's according to a travel expert who has revealed how he purchased cheap flights to European city breaks for less with the budget airliner. Tom Church, of LatestDeals, has found savings on flights by using Google Flights, which allows you to filter your search according to your budget. The online flight booking search service allows travellers to search for the best prices on flights, with options to filter results based on airport, destination, trip dates and more. For those planning a trip this year, Tom recommends going on holiday in May, when you can take full advantage of affordable flights to European destinations such as Barcelona and Venice. Below are Tom's top picks of the best flight deals on offer at the moment, all found via Google Flights. All flights do depart from Bristol Airport however so you may want to factor in costs of your travel to that airport too if you're not nearby. Dublin, Ireland Those looking to take a trip to Ireland this summer can fly to Dublin for less, with Tom finding Ryanair flights in May for as little as £26. Tom recommends a trip around May 9 to May 18, as this is when the best deals are available. Whether you are looking to explore Dublin's rich history and culture, or head out to the pubs and clubs to soak up the nightlife, you are sure to have a great time in the city. Barcelona, Spain The Spanish capital city is full of things to do, from the iconic Sagrada Familia to relaxing beaches. Tom has found affordable trips to Barcelona between May 2 and May 10 with both Ryanair and easyJet. Flights to Barcelona can be found from as little as £28, departing from Bristol. Malaga, Spain If you are looking to soak up the sun this summer, then the Spanish city of Malaga is a great place to jet off to. Tom has found flights with Ryanair and easyJet in May starting from £29 when flying from Bristol.
