People are being given the chance to have their say on plans to return Hull's bus lanes to peak time only. Hull City Council's survey comes as part of a consultation on the proposals which would see bus lanes operate from 7am to 9.30am inbound and 4pm to 6.30pm outbound. Ahead of the launch of an online survey, council leader Mike Ross said it showed Guildhall officials were listening and acting on what the public wanted. The council's consultation is set to run until Monday, July 31. There are also six public drop-in events at the following locations: Paragon Station: Tuesday, June 27 – 12pm-6.30pm Trinity Market: Wednesday, June 28 – 10am-4pm St Stephen’s Shopping Centre: Thursday, July 6 – 12pm-6.30pm Woodford Leisure Centre: Thursday, July 13 – 10am-6.30pm Costa at Hull Royal Infirmary: Tuesday, July 18 – 10am-4pm North Point Shopping Centre: Thursday, July 27 – 12pm-6.30pm Read more:The clever plan to cut Hull's traffic congestion by 25 per cent The decision to press ahead with the plans comes after 65 per cent of those who took part in the council's Transport Survey backed peak-time only bus lanes. The survey was launched after the Liberal Democrats took power at Hull City Council following May 2022's local elections when the party made Hull's roads
