Humberside Police attended a motor incident in Ferensway which had caused problems in Hull's city centre on Monday morning. At 11.40am a single vehicle collision occurred in Spencer Street where a witness reported that it had “shut off” the roads around the scene. Click here for more traffic and travel news from around Hull. Officers reported a car had collided with a barrier causing the road to be closed. Witness reported the road had to remain closed until around 1pm. Humberside Fire and Rescue said one fire engine was present, and police confirmed an ambulance attended to those in the vehicle. East Yorkshire Buses reported there were interruptions to services both to and from the city centre. They said on social media: “Due to an accident on Spencer Street, Ferensway, the road has been closed by the police. “Services from Beverley Road will come into the city centre via Park Street and Services from Anlaby Road will be unable to serve the city centre loop.” Your Hull Live email newsletter Get the latest updates from across Hull and
