Hull driver sparks debate by ‘putting on full face of…
A Hull woman was seen “putting on a full face of make-up” while driving in queuing traffic on the A63, sparking a furious debate among motorists. Another driver, also stuck in the slow-moving traffic, said she had witnessed the woman applying make-up before speeding up and coming alongside her “with mascara brush in hand”. Some said it was an example of “great multi-tasking”, but others warned she could have been breaking the law. I watched the lady driver behind me messing on her phone but then watched her put on a full face of make up! “As we got moving faster and she got in the outer lane she came alongside me at the traffic lights still at it with mascara brush in hand. Just unbelievable! Get up a bit earlier next time love and do it at home.” The Humber Bridge saw heavy traffic yesterday following an accident on the A63 (Image: Rich Addison) Responding to the post, one woman said: “Wow! Slow moving traffic or not, what the hell was she doing on her phone??? Clearly not concentrating on driving either if she’s putting her make up on!” Another agreed, writing: “You just couldn’t make it up could ya? These kind of people are the foundation of our high accident rate.” Others were more sympathetic.
