Hull drivers outraged as broken traffic lights on Roger Millward…

Drivers have warned that traffic lights are not working on the A63 Roger Millward Way roundabout at the junction with Great Union Street and have said it is “seriously dangerous” and an “accident waiting to happen”. Posting on Hull Live's Traffic and Travel Facebook page, drivers who had approached the roundabout said it was not safe. The post read: “Lights are all out on the Roger Millward Way round about! There’s no chance of crossing it, people are flying through!” Hull City Council manages most of the traffic signals in within the City boundary but it is actually Highways England that is responsible for the signals on A63 Roger Millward Way, as well as A63 Hessle Road, A63 Castle Street, and A1033 Hedon Road, according to Hull City Council's website. National Highways said they were working on the issue and have closed part of the junction. Read more: Name and hours for proposed new venue taking over former Hull Telsta
