Ten areas of Hull have seen a weekly rise in Covid cases in the latest figures released. Despite an overall fall of 32 cases in the city, there are a number of areas which have seen a rise. On the plus side, there are 18 areas of the city where the virus has been suppressed with fewer than three cases. Read more here. Also, Voters in Hull go the polls on Thursday in the first city council elections in two years with the overall outcome likely to decided in just a handful of wards. Jill and Steve Walsh celebrated the huge win in the Lotto back in 2016 but it was a bitter sweet time as Jill had not long lost her sister to cancer.
