Hull Fair road closures and parking restrictions
Hull Fair returns this week, with tens of thousands of fairgoers descending on Walton Street each day. Several road closures around the fair will be in place for the duration, with many beginning on Wednesday, October 2. To aid with travel to the fair, Stagecoach has already announced extra bus services to ensure that people can get their Hull Fair Fix. List of road closures: Lowther Street – junction before Slieghts Close. In place from 6am October 2 – 2pm October 13. Walliker Street. In place In place from 6am October 2 – 2pm October 13. Alternative route for vehicles will be Anlaby Road, St Georges Road and Arthur Street and vice versa. Walton Street. In place from 6am October 2 – 2pm October 13. This includes lane restriction on Spring Bank West. Alternative routes for vehicles will be Anlaby Road, St Georges Road and Arthur Street and vice versa. Anlaby Road lane restrictions. In place from 6am October 2 – 2pm October 13. Grandvile Street and Sandringham Street. This closure will only be put in place in exceptional circumstances, from October 4 to October 12, 4pm – 11pm. Alternative routes for vehicles will be Anlaby Road, St Georges Road and Arthur Street and vice versa. Pulman Street. Various closing times depending on the day as follows: October 4: 3pm – 11pm. October 5: 2pm – 11pm. October 7 – October 10: 4 pm – 11 pm daily. October 11: 3pm – 11
