Hull has the most dangerous roads in the country with more crashes than anywhere else – new data has revealed. There were 603 reported crashes across the city during 2020, latest figures from the Department for Transport show. This means that there were 232.1 crashes per 100,000 people in this area, putting Hull's roads squarely at the top of an undesirable table. Hull City Council said the overall figure is not an accurate reflection of the situation on Hull's roads with 86 percent of the crashes classed as 'slight'.
