Hull Paragon Interchange bus timetable screens finally replaced

The wait for long-suffering bus passengers in Hull could soon be over. Electronic timetable information screens at the city's Transport Interchange in the city centre first started going on the blink two years ago. In July last year Hull Live reported how just two of the interchange's original six screens meant to show bus departure and arrival times were still operating. Even then, the screens were displaying outdated information. At the time, frustrated former City of Culture volunteer Chris Lawson spoke for many when he said: “It is ridiculous for a major city to not have working bus timetables. “How on earth are people supposed to know when their bus is coming?” Four months later, the remaining screens also went blank and stopped working.
