Hull streets face months of roadworks as part of new upgrade

Parts of Hull around Beverley Road and Clough Road are facing months of disruption as work is carried out to upgrade the electricity network. The £2.5m investment to upgrade the electricity network in Sculcoates will begin from Monday, January 4. Northern Powergrid are carrying out essential works to improve the reliability and resilience of the electricity network serving the area. The work, which is being carried out by Excalon on Northern Powergrid’s behalf, will involve excavating in the footpath and road along Sissons Way, Clough Road, Ryde Avenue, Ryde Street and Abbey Way, Sculcoates.
