An “accident” in Bilton is causing traffic issues on Saturday evening. It is said to be outside Asda with buses unable to use the bus stop. East Yorkshire bus company tweeted at 5.21pm to say diversions are in place on service 56 and 57. READ MORE: Plymouth shooting prompts new urgency to tragic Stanley Metcalf family's campaign on gun ownership “Hull: Diversions are in place on the service 56 and 57 due to an accident outside of Asda Bilton,” it said. “The buses are unable to use the bus stop at Asda Bilton so will be turning right into Ark Royal.” Meanwhile one man told Hull Live: “Guy was on the ground, conscious but not moving. I think it just happened as I was travelling up the road. “It had caused a bit of traffic as I passed the church on Bilton. “When I passed, there was the blue Fiesta and its occupants helping the person onto their side, and others on the phone to emergency services. “A white van had stopped the traffic the other way and was chatting with other drivers.” To sign up for the Hull Live newsletter, click here.
