Motorists can expect further traffic queues on the roads this Tuesday morning. Work started this week on a five-mile cycle lane to be built from Hull to Cottingham. Read more on that here. Humberside Police's Neighbourhood Police Teams have asked parents to “bike it” or “walk it” on the school run to beat the queues. A stretch of Beverley Road is set to go down to single lanes each way for six months following warnings a historic derelict building is no longer structurally sound. Bus lanes in Beverley Road between Norfolk Street and Trafalgar Street are set to close from Monday, October 11. Read more here.
