A Hull woman has spoken of her horror after a road-rage driver rammed their car into her horse and cart while she was out for some exercise. Kayleigh Raven, 32, had taken her horse Romeo out for a morning walk with her 15-year-old nephew who was sat in the cart at the back, on Wednesday, December 1, when the shocking scenes unfolded. As they made their way along Greenwood Avenue, a sliver Jeep driving behind the horse-drawn cart abruptly took over by cutting in front of them and reversed the vehicle to deliberately collide with Kayleigh and Romeo. We don't know why he would do anything like this. “I have never seen the Jeep in my life and I don't have a clue who was driving it. There were only about three cars behind at the time. “The horse jumped to the side which saved him from being directly hit by the jeep and he ran off into somebody's front garden.” Kayleigh Raven with Romeo (Image: HullLive/Donna Clifford) An eyewitness's daughter uploaded a video of the incident from her mother's car dashcam on Facebook. Posting on Wednesday night, she said: “Captured on my mum's dashcam this morning on Greenwood Avenue. Luckily the horse didn’t go out into the traffic and went into a nearby garden and needed to be calmed down after. There was also a child in the cart on the back!” Unfortunately, Kayleigh was also hit by the car and was left injured as a result of the reckless act. She said: “He hit me and I still have pains on the left side of my body. My arm and everything hurts because of it.” The driver drove off after injuring them and she still does not know who did it. A force spokesman said: “We are aware of footage circulating on social media, appearing to show a vehicle reversing into a horse. “On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at around 10:45am, a collision was reported between a car and a horse rider and her horse.
