The Drypool Bridge, which spans the River Hull linking both sides of Clarence Street, is set for closures from 8pm to 6am between Friday, February 23 and Sunday, February 25. Council Transport Portfolio Holder Cllr Mark Ieronimo said the closures on the popular route were essential to maintain safety. Diversions are set to be in place for motorists and cyclists via Lowgate, Wilberforce Drive, George Street, Witham, Clarence Street and Great Union Street, depending on the direction of travel.
