These clips show some of the worst driving caught on camera in Hull and East Yorkshire and shared online in 2021. It includes the moment that could have caused a severe collision at an “oddball junction”. Another clip shows a driver in a hurry in Woodmansey. And one video is said to show a motorcyclist who was caught “undertaking in a 30mph zone” and doing “one-handed stunts” in an East Yorkshire village. The dashcam video shown above was shared on the Driving in Hull – Hull Road Share Facebook page after being sent in by a driver. The post said: “Wait for it!!!! Mr 'I'm too important' to wait at a red light.” The time frame for the footage, which was filmed in Maybury Road, shows it was filmed around 11.45am on July 15. During the clip, someone travelling in the dashcam car can be heard calling the driver an a*******. The dashcam video was shared on the Driving in Hull – Hull Road Share Facebook page after being sent in by a driver. They said the motorist was “obviously in a hurry that afternoon”. The time frame for the footage shows it was filmed around 2.48pm on June 3. Hull Live told how the clip, which appears to show a motorist driving partly over a kerb and grass verge of a footpath with standing traffic to its right, had since been viewed hundreds of times. The video was shared on the Driving in Hull – Hull Road Share Facebook page, where a follower had sent it in. Sharing the video, the page said: “Very very close to causing a severe collision here. No give way.” It was filmed in Hedon on the B1240 at the junction of Baxter Gate and Magdalen Gate. After watching the footage, some commented on the post to share their thoughts on it. The clip, shown above, was filmed in Newport shortly before 1pm on August 7. Dashcam video of the roundabout in Holdneress Road was shared on the Driving in Hull – Hull Road Share Facebook page, by a driver claiming they had experienced “serious near-misses because of stupidity and ignorance”.
