These clips show some of the the worst driving which was caught on camera in Hull and East Yorkshire in 2020. It includes two “utter clowns” who were caught up in a “road rage” incident which “caused an innocent car to hit another”. Another clip shows the moment a driver does something that is said to be “typical for Hull” on Hedon Road. And one video is said to show the the “pure lunacy” of a driver. All of the videos featured below were posted in the Hull Road Share: Improving Our Standards Together Facebook page. Dean, the man behind the Facebook page, shares the videos, often alongside what the member/dashcam driver said when they sent the clip in, before usually sharing his thoughts on the clips too. And other members of the group usually comment after watching – and have plenty to say. We have picked out just six of the dashcam clips featured on Hull Live this year. Make sure its clear on the roundabout before setting off. Disgusting way to behave.” Other also shared their thoughts on the clip. The video above is made up of two different clips, which were posted separately on the Hull Road Share: Improving Our Standards Together Facebook page at the end of March and sent in to the page by two different people. The first clip to be shared on the page appears second in the video above as that is how it is said to have actually occurred. It was sent by a driver who was not involved but caught part of what happened on his dashcam. “Two idiots, innocent driver ends up worse off,” they said. Posting the other clip shortly after, which is said to be the “first part” of what happened and was sent by someone travelling in the black BMW, Dean quoted what they said. The driver said: “Was driving a bit erratic before this happened, not sure how some people get a licence…” Dean simply banded the driver “pathetic”. One wrote: “Why would you do that?” Another said: “Maybe they thought as the left turn light was green straight on would be too? (Though doesn’t excuse the undertake).
