The Humber Bridge is closed to traffic in both directions, following a crash this afternoon. Emergency services are currently in attendance on the A15 and have asked members of the public to avoid the area. The Humber Bridge Twitter account initially confirmed a northbound closure shortly after 2.30pm and wrote: “Traffic update: We are currently closed to traffic northbound due to a police incident.” Since then, the Humber Bridge has been closed to all traffic, including pedestrians and cyclists, in both directions.
